I too am a 60 something orthodox woman with RA and fibro–that battle has lasted over 45 years. When anyone asks about that–I tell them it is like ice skating on the edge of a razor blade. IT has been an interesting journey for sure.

Blaine – I don’t usually approve comments that “flog” websites, but I’m making an exception in your case.

That said, after taking the time to “tour” the site, I am concerned that there is so much encouragement to use “natural” or “herbal” remedies for treating rheumatoid autoimmune disease. The autoimmune diseases are not just about inflammation, and certainly diet won’t “cure” them. Eating a well-rounded diet usually will help the patient’s body feel better all-’round, but does nothing to make autoimmune diseases go away.

So, although I encourage people who follow me to visit various websites, I always give this caveat: if they are “touting” a cure, or even major relief, that “doctors don’t know about,” it’s most likely a hoax.

      Sincerely
      Turtlemom2
